I stepped out of my comfort zone and did something new. My very first attempt at charcoal went better than I expected. It was a fun learning experience. As always I will practice, practice, practice. This is my tribute to the late Nelson Mandela. Peace

I'm working on a new colored pencil project. "Coke with lime". It took over an hour to render the lime. Still having fun though.
I figured out how to render ice cream after hours of studying the breyers ice cream box and a trip to the art store. I finished. I think. I even learned a new shading technique. Definitely growing as an artist. Now on to the next project. Something a little tougher, pop in a glass.
Chocolate Ice cream sundae. Not done yet. Can't figure out how to render ice cream. Give me a minute. Don't give up on me yet.
I finally finished my Color pencil drawing after two weeks. It was fun, but I chose the wrong type of paper. I used a textured cardstock paper and honestly expected a smooth finish.lol! Oh well, live and learn. No regrets just fun. -ijuswannadraw
A few of my pieces are on display in a gallery in Park Forest IL. I have 2 items for sale in the art gallery gift shop. I have to say today was I good day. Note everything was put together in less than 24 hours.
Today I worked on a hoodie for a customer in Texas. Hope he enjoys wearing it as much as I enjoyed making it.
To day I started a new oil painting. I did the underpainting somewhat, I just ready to move on. Too excited!
OMG. I got a new idea for some custom headphones. It is driving me crazy!!! I have to work on it today.
This year I did custom father's Day cards for my dad and big brother. Dad is mr. Fix it, and Steve is the golfer. Happy Father's Day! I love you both.
Today I finished my Ironman themed headphones. Sadly something went terribly wrong when I cleared them. I have to do the left ear piece again. Other than that I think they turned out pretty cool.
I have been wanting to do abstract paintings for some time now. However I was afraid for some reason. I think that I have been painting specific things or at least have had an idea of what I want the finished project to look like for so long I'm not sure how to dive into abstract.
I finished my second oil painting(6x12 canvas) (Not sure what kind of flowers, maybe bleeding hearts.) Varnishing is now in progress. I hope Aunt Saundra doesn't follow my blog. If she does I just ruined her surprise. -ijuswannadraw
My light broke. I had to paint in the dark, but I got through it. My head is throbbing above my right I but did my thing though. 166 pairs of sweatpaint done. And I'm out this thang.
Tonight I'm airbrushing at a party with my good friend Kenny Ivy. I really miss days like this, when we used to airbrush and draw all day at the park. I will always love the Fasen crew.
